Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler is lending his support to the search to find out who killed 25 cats and hung their bodies in trees in New York.
According to the Journal News, Butler has donated $1,000 to the reward fund, increasing the amount to $25,000.
In a statement through the Westchester County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Butler calls the killings a "heinous and heartless crime." He's sure that someone out there knows who committed the act and encourages them to come forward "to get this coward(s) off the street."
The cats were discovered wrapped in plastic bags in the woods in Yonkers, New York last month.
